Robinhood Markets (HOOD) said Wednesday that it is launching Agentic Trading and Agentic Credit Card, allowing AI agents to trade and make credit purchases on behalf of users.

The company said that users can open a dedicated agentic trading account separate from the rest of their portfolio, providing the AI agent with access to funds deposited into that account.

Robinhood said that it is initially launching Agentic Trading in beta for equities, and has plans for options, crypto, event contracts, and futures trading.

Additionally, the company said that the Agentic Credit Card allows AI agents to spend on behalf of users by connecting them to Robinhood Banking's Model Context Protocol server.

The company said that users can connect an AI agent to a dedicated virtual Robinhood Gold Card, set a spending limit, and choose if they require manual approvals.

Robinhood shares were down 0.5% in premarket trading.
