05:34 PM EDT, 05/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin (LMT) was awarded a $100.5 million firm-fixed-price order by the US Navy against a previously issued basic ordering agreement, the US Department of War said late Tuesday.
The order procures 1,459 brake assembly heat sinks, including 1,075 for the F-35A Lightning II conventional takeoff and landing aircraft, and 384 for the F-35B Lightning II short takeoff and vertical landing aircraft, to support depot-level brake repairs, according to a statement.
Work will be performed in South Bend, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by March 2030, per the statement.
