NANO Nuclear Energy's (NNE) shares were up 12% in Tuesday trading after the company said it acquired nuclear logistics firm Secured Transportation Services in a deal valued at up to $13 million.
The acquisition gives NANO Nuclear in-house capabilities for transporting nuclear fuel, spent fuel and reactor components, a critical but highly regulated segment of the nuclear supply chain, the company said.
NANO Nuclear said the deal will help accelerate the deployment of its microreactor technologies while reducing reliance on third-party logistics providers.
